hold policies

All holds must be done in full month increments. We do not hold accounts for 1-3 weeks at a time. All hold requests must be received in writing to info@axefitness.com at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to your next billing period. Any retroactive hold requests will not be accepted. It is your responsibility to notify us of your return from a hold. We reserve the right to adjust this hold policy from time to time in our sole and absolute discretion.

medical holds

If you are temporarily unable to use the gym for medical reasons (surgery, broken bone, etc.), you may hold your membership for up to three (3) months. A $50 hold fee per month would be charged to the account on file and you may be asked to provide a doctor's note verifying the medical-based hold on your account. On month four (4), the hold would be lifted. If you needed to cancel your membership at that time, the above-stated cancellation terms would still apply.

non-medical holds

If you are temporarily unable to use the gym for non-medical reasons (holiday, needing a break, etc.), once per year you may hold your membership for up to three (3) months. An $80 hold fee per month would be charged to the account on file. On month four (4), the hold would be lifted. If you needed to cancel your membership at that time, the above-stated cancellation terms would still apply.

pregnancy holds

If you are pregnant and temporarily unable to use the gym, you may hold your membership when you are ready to do so at no charge. Your hold will be in place for one year from the date you enact the hold, nine (9) months after your delivery date, or when you request the hold to be lifted, whichever comes first. If you need to cancel your membership agreement at that time, the above-stated cancellation terms would still apply.
